At the appointed hour, we will start visiting the city.

We will start by picking up all our participants from their different hotels in Lima, and then start with a small visit to the Intihuatana Park, established on the Malecón of Miraflores, where will appreciate the magnificent Pacific Ocean. We will continue our tour of the residential districts in the modern areas of Miraflores and San Isidro, we will have the opportunity to observe the Huaca Pucllana, a pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid which, despite the urban expansion of Lima has endured.

We will continue with the tour to continue to the Olivar Park and the Financial Center of Lima, and then visit the Historic Center of Lima, named by UNESCO in 1991 as a World Heritage Site Cultural of the Humanity, where the Spanish crown, founded the center of the colony in the sixteenth century, where the first colonial buildings were built. We will be dazzled by the magnificent San Martin Square, old balconies and old mansions, the Plaza Mayor and its most prominent buildings such as the Palace the Cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop's and Municipal Palace, the Desamparados Station and a lot more.

In between the tour, we will have the opportunity to visit one of the most highlights of the 17th century. At 2:50 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station with destination to Paracas. The bus will leave at approximately 4:00 am and after 3 hours, we will get to Paracas.

8:00am after a warm welcome in Paracas, we will start the Ballestas Island Tour.

From the Paracas resort, you can visit the Ballestas Islands by boat where they live Sea lions, guano birds, penguins and a diversity of marine fauna. In the course of appreciates a very enigmatic figure, El Candelabro, immortalized on the side of a hill, is a geoglyph of rock formation eroded by the wind and the sea. It measures around 120 meters long that is also known as the Three Crosses or Trident. The best is to appreciate it from the sea.

Around noon, we will take the bus back to Paracas and head to Ica for about three hours. Upon arrival in Ica we will continue with the tubular excursions through the dunes of the Huacachina, being a fantastic adventure in the middle of the desert where we will enjoy the high and low dunes and where you can feel the adrenaline on these natural mountains Russian women in the desert.

In the same tour through the desert, you will be able to practice sandboarding; our guide will instruct you so that you can do it safely and if in case you do not have experience in this sport, our guide will instruct you in such a way that you will feel safe to do so.

At about 06:00 pm we will take the bus to Ica where we will spend the night.

At the agreed hour in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel and leave for the Nazca where we will board a light plane for an unforgettable air tour over the Nazca Lines. Our bilingual guide (Spanish / English) will assist you at all times until to board the plane.

This flight over the Nazca Lines will extend over most of the famous located in the Nazca Desert, whose surface is marked by gigantic drawings and geometrical figures that you will be able to appreciate along the way.

The overflight to the Nazca lines is for approximately 35 minutes and this is the best way of appreciating these extraordinary and fascinating lines intrinsically drawn that have been a mystery for many years. We will be able to appreciate the different figures drawn in the surface of the Nazca Desert, with animal and plant representations perfectly stylized, distributed in a large maze of lines, trapezes, triangles and spirals that have lasted for almost 2,000 years. This place is one of the most unbelievable that a culture has left behind and that can only be appreciated from the sky to an altitude of 1500 feet.

At the end of the flight, we will have time to have lunch and take a bus to Arequipa at 02:30 pm arriving at our destination at 11:30 pm approximately.

We will be assisted on our arrival in Arequipa and transferred to the hotel where we will spend the night.

12:30pm approximately, we will board the bus to move to the city of Puno.

In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to go on a transport to the pier or port main.

Around 7:00 am, we start the departure towards the floating islands of the Uros, currently considered the Lake Titicaca National Reserve. Also known as the lake the highest navigable area in the world. During the trip you will be able to observe a beautiful panoramic view, landscape. Our specialized guide will tell you about the existence of the floating islands of the Uros.

Today the people of the Uros still maintain their own culture and tradition, as well as fishing especially the (CARACHI) and the silverside. When fishing is abundant, the fish drying them in the sun. They also hunt wild birds and collect eggs from duck. There are 75 islands living today, and each organized, after a long and nice visit, you'll be saying goodbye to the Uros. Our next visit will be the natural island of Taquile.

Natural island of Taquile - To get to our next visit, we will sail by boat for 2 and a half hours, to the natural island of Taquile, during the navigation you will be able to observe the mountain chain (the Cordillera Real), not only that, the people of Taquile are very collaborative and well organized. This is the reason why the Taquileños have demonstrated their high level of progress in the textile industry, receiving their award for UNESCO. It should be noted that spinning and weaving are mainly done by men, starting at the age of eight and women make exclusively from yarn and fabric.

The visit will take an average of 2 hours, and 1 hour will have to taste a delicious typical lunch, if you really want to be part of this community, you can volunteer to help by buying some of his crafts. So that this community has some means of sustainability, so that they can continue to show their existence to future travellers. Finally our guide will inform you of the time of return, arriving at 17:00 pm. in the city of Puno.

Around 06:15am, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the bus at the Puno terminal.

Our journey to Cusco will last 10 hours approximately, where we will have 4 excursions and guided tours to the most interesting places in the southern highlands visiting the temple of Andahuaylillas or Sistine Chapel of America, the Inka temple of Raqchi, the Raya at 4335 meters above sea level and the Inka Museum Aymara from Pukara. Each visit lasts between 20 and 40 minutes, where you will be able to questions, take pictures and explore the attractions of the place, making this experience an unforgettable activity.

The City Tour in the city of Cusco will allow you to know the archaeological and religious tourist places the most impressive of the cosmopolitan city of Cusco, Peru.

We will pick you up from your hotel between 08:00am and 08:15am to start the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in the course of the day, we will visit the beautiful archaeological sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo, will have the buffet lunch included in Urubamba.

The tour of the Sacred Valley ends for you after visiting the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo at approximately 3:00 p.m.

You will then head to the train station in Ollantaytambo, which is an 8-minute walk away, our guide to the Sacred Valley will guide you, and it is easy to get there.

You should board your train at 4:15pm at the latest, after a 1:45am trip you will arrive in Aguas Calientes where our transfer is waiting for you to accompany you to your hotel, in this same hotel you will contact our guide to coordinate with you for the next day's hearing.

TREKKING KM 104 "CHACHABAMBA TO INTI PUNKU, THE GATEWAY TO THE SUN
Today our hike takes us along the most impressive stretch of the Inca Trail. We will visit beautiful Inca sites, we will see a variety of flora and fauna and we will be able to enjoy the panoramas of the Andes Mountains. Covering 16 km of the road, our journey begins in the Sacred Valley and climb the original Inca Trail to the Inca site of Wiñay Wayna before continuing to Machu Picchu by the Sun Gate (Inti Punku).

As we drive to Machu Picchu, we will pass through the lush green cloud forest that covers the mountain and we can see a variety of plants, flowers and birds along the way. In addition, we can see some bigger mammals like the Viscachas (chinchillas with form of rabbit) and the Spectacled bears (if we are very lucky).

After a full day of walking, we will arrive at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) in the late afternoon and we will get our first views of Machu Picchu spread out on the mountain below.

The light at this time of day is great for photos because there are few tourists, so it is a perfect time to take some pictures of the site. After passing through the Sun Gate (Puerta del Sol), we will continue along the path a little before taking a side path that leads to Aguas Calientes, in the valley below, where we we'll check into our hotel.

Early wake up (04:00am) to take one of the first buses back to Machu Picchu to enter the site as soon as it opens (06:00am) we will have a 2 hour guided tour in the site where you will learn about the Incas and visit all the most important areas of the citadel.

After the tour, you will have free time to explore the site by yourself and if you have permission to climb the Huayna Picchu (2 hours round trip) or the Machu Picchu mountain (3 hours round trip).

You will also have time to do some of the following activities on your own if you wish (not included in the price)

Climb the Huayna Picchu or the Machu Picchu Mountain and appreciate the beauty and magnificence of Machu Picchu from there.

Other optional activities in Aguas Calientes are a visit to the new local museum or a bath in the hot springs.

Return to Cusco: You will descend to Aguas Calientes by bus (included) and then board the Expedition to the Ollantaytambo train station; the train departure time may vary according to schedule and availability.

At the Ollantaytambo train station, you will meet our private van and be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.

The hike to the mountains of Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu depends on availability. Please let us know if you would like to add one of these additional walks at the time of booking.

We only take ITEP EcoTravel customers in our vans and cars. We do not use public transportation.

About the hotels in Machupicchu:

The hotels can change (be different according to your request) depending on the time of reservation and availability; it is also possible to camp on the Inca Trail 2d/1n, we just need follow the conditions of the Machupicchu government or the restrictions made for security reasons by the Peruvian government.
